Professional Education
Medical professionals are often unaware of the gender differences in cardiovascular disease. In many cases, cardiac symptoms in women present atypically, leading to under-diagnosis and inadequate care. This includes:

Lectures on tailored cardiac care for women for medical students, nursing students, and masters level programs in nursing, in the dental school and for physical therapists.

Training and education for medical staff has been provided at Hadassah and throughout Israel, including for cardiologists, emergency and urgent care specialists, internists, and cardiology nurses and medical secretaries.

In-service training provided to doctors and nurses at TEREM and the Maccabi and Meuhedet Israeli health plans.
